2013 in Musica

Un anno vissuto sempre più all'insegna della "libertà" (apparente? problematica? ingenua?) garantita dalla rete, per quanto mi riguarda niente di più e niente di meno di un efficace strumento al servizio di una inestinguibile sete di suggestioni musicali, cinematiche e letterarie. Un oceano in cui i concetti tradizionali di tempo e luogo non hanno più molto senso, e quindi che meraviglia perdersi, rinvenire connessioni e bussole tutte personali con cui farsi strada, a ritroso negli anni, oscillando a nord e sud dell'equatore. Dove la differenza, mi auguro, possa essere motivo di curiosità e spinta verso la scoperta e il dialogo, piuttosto che solitudine e diffidenza.

Lascio il cinema e i libri a chi è ben più competente di me, anche perché ho visto ben pochi film usciti nel 2013, stesso discorso per i libri che ho letto - ad esclusione del sempre grande Erri De Luca con "Storia di Irene".

Quindi vi delizio con le consuete 'classifiche musicali', quest'anno ancor di più vissute come una sorta di taccuino giornaliero e delle stagioni passate, con cui ho cercato di disciplinare il flusso ininterrotto dei download e dei dischi ascoltati.

MAURO OTTOLINI SOUSAPHONIX - Bix Factor (EGEA/Parco Della Musica, 2012). Anche se è ufficialmente uscito l'anno scorso, mi sembrava un'ingiustizia non regalargli una meritatissima citazione: per il progetto - uno dei pochi in cui nostalgia e creatività vanno a braccetto, la preziosa combinazione di musica, scrittura e teatralità, e la splendida serata in quel di Novara Jazz lo scorso 8 giugno. ALOE BLACC - Lift Your Spirit (Interscope Records). Sono ancora in lutto per l'asservimento dell'Aloe alle logiche del mercato. Gli arrangiamenti orchestrali dell'odiosa e martellante canzone non riescono a celare la pochezza dell'album. Peccato. Perché lui è un performer strepitoso (vedi il disco di cover con la band Roseaux).
